Storage bins with fabric from my July flowers collection
I finally found some time to sew storage bins using a pattern a bought a year ago from Sotak. It’s a super fun and easy pattern and the bins were made really quickly. It’s available in 5 sizes and the bins perfectly nest into each other.
I made one storage bin in XL, using my July flowers fabric printed on linen cotton canvas from Spoonflower, available here. As lining, I choose a fabric I bought a long time ago, Warp and weft in lilac. The two fabrics go so well together!
The Vlieseline 630 I used for interfacing gives them a really good stand. I’m planning to use my bins in the bathroom to store towels.
The small fabric basket I made is size XS. As I only had fat quarters from that butterfly fabric (Butterfly silhouettes – Terra cotta), it was the only size I was able to make. But it is still big enough to store small hand towels or hair accessories.

New collection: Botanical Silhouettes
For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been working on a collection inspired by the plants and leaves in my moms garden. At the beginning of fall, I began picking and collecting different kinds of plant leaves, that I scanned and vectorized. I used different techniques to build simple repeating patterns. To give them some depth and accents, I added self made textures.
Each design is available in two different color ways ans two different sizes. The designs are suitable for print on fabric, home decor and wallpaper.
To check the colors and repeats of my designs, I ordered some prints on different fabric types.
